この印象的な猿の写真は、山へ雑誌の取材で訪れた際、どこからか撮影を眺めていた猿たちが、私がカメラから目を離した隙に近づき、見よう見まねでファインダーを覗いたり、ピントノブを回したりして戯れているところを、首にぶら下げていたもう一台のカメラで捉えた光景です。

そんな偶然とも必然とも言えない一瞬が、私の代名詞的な写真となりました。しかし私は動物写真カメラマンではなく、商品撮影、料理写真、建築写真、ポートレイトなどを得意とする東京の商業フォトグラファーです。

商業フォトグラファーというのは原則的に「購買欲をそそる写真を撮る」人です。断定的に言うと、出会ってすぐに一期一会の信頼できる仲間として、クライアントのお役に立つことが私の役目です。

2020年7月、千葉市中央区にリモートワーク専用撮影スタジオをオープンしました。

新型コロナウィルス感染症の影響を鑑み、立会い不要でオンラインツールを使い、お客様と進捗状況をリアルタイムに認識・共有し合いながら撮影できるリモート環境を構築しました。

Hello, I am Tokyo based commercial and editorial photographer. Perhaps you’ve certainly seen my work on Diamond Weekly, APOTHE FRAGRANCE and so on before.

Let me touch on the iconic monkey photo. When I visited the mountain for the coverage of the magazine and momentarily took my eyes off the camera, the monkeys have copied action from me and do it with my camera. Fortunately, I have sub camera and could take them. Now, they became the representative photograph of me.

I've always been drawn to the overlap between coincidence and a dramatic lighting technique. My skills are broad: from studio to outside. I enjoy each aspect, and love creating images from start to finish, for clients all over the world.

Since starting my journey as a freelance photographer nearly 20 years ago, I've done photo work for clients, and collaborated with talented people to create photograph for both business and consumer use. I'm quietly confident, and naturally curious.
